105. Al-Fil – Slon Mekka – 5 ajeta.

U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!

1. Zar nisi čuo šta je sa vlasnicima slona Gospodar tvoj uradio!

2. Zar lukavstvo njihovo nije omeo

3. i protiv njih jata ptica poslao,

4. koje su na njih grumenje od gline pečene bacale,

5. pa ih o­n kao lišće koje su crvi istočili učinio?

105. Surah Al-Feel (The Elephant)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

1. Have you (O Muhammad ()) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah].

2. Did He not make their plot go astray?

3. And sent against them birds, in flocks,

4. Striking them with stones of Sijjil.

5. And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle).

1. Ali še niste slišali, kaj je vaš Gospod naredil lastnikom slona!

2. Ali jih ni ovirala njihova zvitost?

3. in proti njim poslal jate ptic,

4. ki je vanje metal kepe žgane gline,

5. zato jih je naredil kot listje, ki so ga črvi odvrgli?
