26. Aš-Šu’ara’ – Pjesnici Mekka – 227 ajeta

U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog!

1. Ta Sin Mim.

2. Ovo su ajeti Knjige jasne!

3. Zar ćeš ti sebe uništiti zato što ovi neće da postanu vjernici?

4. Kad bismo htjeli, Mi bismo im s neba jedan znak poslali pred kojim bi o­ni šije svoje sagnuli.

5. I njima ne dođe nijedna nova opomena od Milostivoga, a da se od nje ne okrenu.

6. o­ni poriču – pa, stići će ih sigurno posljedice o­noga čemu se izruguju.

7. Zar o­ni ne vide kako činimo da iz zemlje niče svakovrsno bilje plemenito?

8. To je, doista, dokaz, ali većina njih ne vjeruje,

9. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, silan i milostiv.

10. A kad je Gospodar tvoj Musaa zovnuo: “Idi narodu koji se prema sebi ogriješio,

11. narodu faraonovu, ne bi li se Allaha pobojao,” -

12. o­n je rekao: “Gospodaru moj, bojim se da me o­ni u laž ne utjeraju,

13. da mi ne postane teško u duši i da mi se jezik ne saplete; zato podaj poslanstvo i Harunu,

14. a ja sam njima i odgovoran,* pa se plašim da me ne ubiju.”

15. “Neće!” – reče o­n. “Idite obojica sa dokazima Našim, Mi ćemo s vama biti i slušati.

16. Otiđite faraonu i recite: ’Mi smo poslanici Gospodara svjetova,

17. dopusti da sinovi Israilovi pođu s nama!’”

18. “Zar te među nama nismo gojili dok si dijete bio i zar među nama tolike godine života svoga nisi proveo?” – reče faraon -

19. “i uradio si nedjelo koje si uradio i još si nezahvalnik?”

20. “Ja sam o­nda o­no uradio nehotice” – reče -

21. “a od vas sam pobjegao zato što sam se vas bojao, pa mi je Gospodar moj mudrost darovao i poslanikom me učinio.

22. A dobročinstvo koje mi prebacuješ – da nije to što si sinove Israilove robljem učinio?”

23. “A ko je Gospodar svjetova?” – upita faraon.

24. “Gospodar nebesa i Zemlje i o­noga što je između njih, ako vjerujete” – odgovori o­n.

25. “Čujete li ?” – reče o­nima oko sebe faraon.

26. “Gospodar vaš i Gospodar vaših davnih predaka” – reče Musa.

27. “Poslanik koji vam je poslan, uistinu, je lud” – reče faraon.

28. “Gospodar istoka i zapada i o­noga što je između njih, ako pameti imate” – reče Musa.

29. A faraon reče: “Ako budeš kao boga nekog drugog osim mene priznavao, sigurno ću te u tamnicu baciti!”

30. “Zar i o­nda kad ti budem očigledan dokaz donio?” – upita o­n.

31. “Pa daj ga, ako istinu govoriš!” – reče faraon.

32. I Musa baci štap svoj, kad o­n – zmija prava,

33. a o­nda izvadi ruku iz njedara, kad o­na, o­nima koji su gledali – bijela.

34. “Ovaj je zaista vješt čarobnjak” – reče glavešinama oko sebe faraon -

35. “hoće da vas čarolijom svojom iz zemlje vaše izvede. Pa šta savjetujete?”

36. “Ostavi njega i brata njegova!” – rekoše – “a u gradove pošalji da sakupljaju,

37. sve čarobnjake vješte će ti dovesti.”

38. I čarobnjaci se u određeno vrijeme i označenog dana sabraše,

39. a narodu bi rečeno: “Hoćete li se iskupiti

40. da budemo uz čarobnjake, ako o­ni budu pobjednici!”

41. A kad dođoše, čarobnjaci faraona upitaše: “Da li će nama, doista, pripasti nagrada ako mi budemo pobjednici?”

42. “Hoće – odgovori o­n -”bićete tada sigurno meni najbliži.”

43. Musa im reče: “Bacite o­no što želite baciti!”

44. I o­ni pobacaše konope svoje i štapove svoje i rekoše: “Tako nam dostojanstva faraonova, mi ćemo svakako pobijediti!”

45. Zatim Musa baci svoj štap, koji, odjednom, proguta o­no što su o­ni lažno izveli.

46. Čarobnjaci se o­nda na tle baciše

47. i rekoše: “Mi vjerujemo u Gospodara svjetova,

48. Gospodara Musaova i Harunova!”

49. “Da povjerujete njemu prije dopuštenja moga!” – viknu faraon. – “On je vaš učitelj, o­n vas je čarobnjaštvu naučio – a vi ćete zapamtiti; poodsijecaću vam ruke i noge vaše unakrst i sve ću vas porazapinjati!”

50. “Ništa strašno!” – rekoše o­ni – “mi ćemo se Gospodaru svome vratiti.

51. Mi se nadamo da će nam Gospodar naš grijehe naše oprostiti zato što smo prvi vjernici.”

52. I Mi objavismo Musau: “Kreni noću s robovima Mojim, ali bićete gonjeni.”

53. I faraon posla po gradovima sakupljače:

54. “Ovih je zaista malo

55. i rasrdili su nas,

56. a mi smo svi budni!”

57. I Mi ih izvedosmo iz vrtova i rijeka,*

58. iz riznica i dvoraca divnih.

59. Eto tako je bilo, i Mi dadosmo da to naslijede sinovi Israilovi.

60. I o­ni ih, kad se sunce rađalo, sustigoše.

61. Pa kad jedni druge ugledaše, drugovi Musaovi povikaše: “Samo što nas nisu stigli!”

62. “Neće!” – reče o­n – “Gospodar moj je sa mnom, o­n će mi put pokazati.”

63. I Mi objavismo Musau: “Udari štapom svojim po moru!” – i o­no se rastavi i svaki bok njegov bijaše kao veliko brdo;

64. i Mi o­nda tamo o­ne druge približismo – *

65. a Musaa i sve o­ne koji bijahu s njim spasismo -

66. i o­ne druge potopismo.

67. To je, zaista, pouka, a većina njih nisu bili vjernici

68. a Gospodar tvoj je, doista, silan i milostiv.

69. I kaži im vijest o Ibrahimu

70. kada je oca svoga i narod svoj upitao: “Čemu se vi klanjate?”

71. a o­ni odgovorili: “Klanjamo se kumirima i povazdan im se molimo”,

72. o­n je rekao: “Da li vas o­ni čuju kad se molite,

73. ili, da li vam mogu koristiti ili naškoditi?”

74. “Ne” – odgovoriše “ali mi smo upamtili pretke naše kako tako postupaju.”

75. “A da li ste razmišljali” – upita o­n – “da su o­ni kojima se klanjate

76. vi i kojima su se klanjali davani preci vaši,

77. doista, neprijatelji moji? Ali, to nije Gospodar svjetova,

78. koji me je stvorio i na Pravi put uputio,

79. i koji me hrani i poji,

80. i koji me, kad se razbolim, liječi,

81. i koji će mi život oduzeti, i koji će me poslije oživiti,

82. i koji će mi, nadam se, pogreške moje na Sudnjem danu oprostiti!

83. Gospodaru moj, podari mi znanje i uvrsti me među o­ne koji su dobri

84. i učini da me po lijepom spominju o­ni što će poslije mene doći,

85. i učini me jednim od o­nih kojima ćeš džennetske blagodati darovati -

86. i ocu mome oprosti, o­n je jedan od zalutalih -

87. i ne osramoti me na Dan kad će ljudi oživljeni biti,

88. na Dan kada neće nikakvo blago, a ni sinovi od koristi biti,

89. samo će o­naj koji Allahu srca čista dođe spašen biti.”

90. I Džennet će se čestitima približiti,

91. a Džehennem zalutalima ukazati,

92. i reći će im se: “Gdje su o­ni kojima ste se klanjali,

93. a niste Allahu; mogu li vam o­ni pomoći, a mogu li i sebi pomoći?”

94. pa će i o­ni i o­ni koji su ih u zabludu doveli u nj biti bačeni,

95. i vojske Iblisove – svi zajedno.

96. I o­ni će, svađajući se u njemu, govoriti:

97. “Allaha nam, bili smo, doista, u očitoj zabludi

98. kad smo vas s Gospodarom svjetova izjednačavali,

99. a na stranputicu su nas naveli zlikovci,

100. pa nemamo ni zagovornika,

101. ni prisna prijatelja -

102. da nam je samo da se povratimo, pa da postanemo vjernici!”

103. u tome je pouka, ali većina ovih nisu vjernici,

104. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, silan i milostiv.

105. I Nuhov narod je smatrao lažnim poslanike.

106. Kad im brat njihov Nuh reče: “Kako to da se Allaha ne bojite?

107. Ja sam vam, sigurno, poslanik pouzdani,

108. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!

109. Za ovo od vas ne tražim nikakve nagrade, mene će Gospodar svjetova nagraditi,

110. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!” -

111. o­ni rekoše: “Kako da te poslušamo, kad te makar ko slijedi slijedi?”

112. “Ne znam ja šta o­ni rade” – reče o­n,

113. “svi će pred Gospodarom mojim, da znate, račun polagati,

114. a ja vjernike neću otjerati,

115. ja samo javno opominjem!”

116. “Ako se ne okaniš, o Nuhu!” – rekoše o­ni – “bićeš sigurno kamenovan!”

117. “Gospodaru moj,” – reče o­n – “narod moj me u laž utjeruje,

118. pa Ti meni i njima presudi i mene i vjernike koji su sa mnom spasi!”

119. I Mi smo njega i o­ne koji su bili uz njega u lađi krcatoj spasili,

120. a ostale potopili.

121. To je pouka, ali većina ovih nisu vjernici,

122. a Gospodar tvoj je zaista silan i milostiv.

123. I Ad je smatrao lažnim poslanike.

124. Kad im brat njihov Hud reče: “Kako to da se Allaha ne bojite?

125. Ja sam vam, sigurno, poslanik pouzdani,

126. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!

127. Za ovo od vas ne tražim nikakve nagrade, mene će Gospodar svjetova nagraditi.

128. Zašto na svakoj uzvišici palate zidate, druge ismijavajući,

129. i podižete utvrde kao da ćete vječno živjeti,

130. a kad kažnjavate, kažnjavate kao silnici?

131. Bojte se Allaha i meni budite poslušni!

132. Bojte se o­noga koji vam daruje o­no što znate:

133. daruje vam stoku i sinove,

134. i bašče i izvore.

135. Ja se, doista, bojim, za vas na Velikom danu patnje” -

136. Rekoše o­ni: “Nama je svejedno savjetovao ti ili ne bio savjetnik,

137. ovako su i narodi davnašnji vjerovali,

138. i mi nećemo biti mučeni.”

139. I o­ni su ga nastavili u laž utjerivati, pa smo ih Mi uništili. To je pouka, ali većina ovih neće da vjeruje,

140. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, silan i milostiv.

141. I Semud je smatrao lažnim poslanike.

142. Kad im brat njihov Salih reče: “Kako to da se Allaha ne bojite?

143. Ja sa vam, sigurno, poslanik pouzdani

144. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!

145. Za ovo od vas ne tražim nikakve nagrade, mene će Gospodar svjetova nagraditi.

146. Zar mislite da ćete ovdje biti ostavljeni sigurni,

147. u vrtovima i među izvorima,

148. u usjevima i među palmama sa plodovima zrelim?

149. Vi u brdima vrlo spretno kuće klešete

150. zato se bojte Allaha i poslušni meni budite

151. i ne slušajte naredbe o­nih koji u zlu pretjeruju,

152. koji na Zemlji ne zavode red već nered uspostavljaju” -

153. rekoše o­ni: “Ti si samo opčinjen;

154. ti si čovjek, kao i mi; zato nam donesi jedno čudo ako je istina to što govoriš!”

155. “Evo, to je kamila” – reče o­n – “u određeni dan o­na će piti, a u poznati dan vi,

156. i ne učinite joj nikakvo zlo da vas ne bi stigla patnja na Velikom danu!”

157. Ali, o­ni je zaklaše i potom se pokajaše.

158. I stiže ih kazna. To je pouka, ali većina ovih neće da vjeruje,

159. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, silan i milostiv

160. I Lutov narod je smatrao lažnim poslanike.

161. Kad im njihov brat Lut reče: “Kako to da se ne bojite?

162. Ja sam vam, sigurno, poslanik pouzdani,

163. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!

164. Za ovo od vas ne tražim nikakve nagrade, mene će Gospodar svjetova nagraditi.

165. Zašto vi, mimo sav svijet, sa muškarcima općite,

166. a žene svoje, koje je za vas Gospodar vaš stvorio, ostavljate? Vi ste ljudi koji svaku granicu zla prelazite” -

167. rekoše o­ni: “Ako se ne okaniš, o Lute, bićeš sigurno prognan.”

168. “Ja se gnušam toga što vi radite!” – reče o­n;

169. “Gospodaru moj, sačuvaj mene i porodicu moju kazne za o­no što o­ni rade!”

170. I Mi smo sačuvali njega i porodicu njegovu – sve,

171. osim starice koja je ostala sa o­nima koji su kaznu iskusili,

172. a zatim smo ostale uništili

173. spustivši na njih kišu – a strašne li kiše za o­ne koji su opomenuti bili!

174. To je pouka, ali većina ovih neće da vjeruje,

175. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, silan i milostiv.

176. I stanovnici Ejke su u laž ugonili poslanike.

177. Kad im Šuajb reče: “Kako to da se ne bojite?

178. Ja sam vam, sigurno, poslanik pouzdani,

179. zato se bojte Allaha i budite poslušni meni!

180. Za ovo od vas ne tražim nikakve nagrade, mene će Gospodar svjetova nagraditi.

181. Pravo mjerite na litru i ne zakidajte

182. a na kantaru ispravnom mjerom mjerite,

183. i ljudima prava njihova ne umanjujte i zlo po Zemlji, nered praveći, ne činite,

184. i o­noga koji je stvorio vas i narode davnašnje bojte se” -

185. rekoše o­ni: “Ti si samo opčinjen;

186. i ti si samo čovjek kao i mi; za nas si ti, doista, lažac pravi;

187. zato spusti na nas kaznu s neba, ako istinu govoriš!”

188. “Gospodar moj dobro zna šta vi radite” – reče o­n.

189. I o­ni su nastavili da ga u laž utjeruju pa ih je stigla kazna iz oblaka; a to je bila kazna jednog strašnog dana.

190. To je pouka, ali većina ovih neće da vjeruje,

191. a Gospodar tvoj je, zaista, Silan i Milostiv.

192. I Kur’an je, sigurno, objava Gospodara svjetova;

193. donosi ga povjerljivi Džibril

194. na srce tvoje, da opominješ

195. na jasnom arapskom jeziku;

196. o­n je spomenut u knjigama poslanika prijašnjih -

197. zar ovima nije dokaz to što za njega znaju učeni ljudi sinova Israilovih?

198. A da ga objavljujemo i nekom nearapu

199. pa da im ga o­n čita, opet u nj ne bi povjerovali.

200. Eto, tako ga Mi u srca grješnika uvodimo,

201. o­ni u nj neće vjerovati dok ne dožive patnju nesnosnu,

202. koja će im iznenada doći, kad je najmanje budu očekivali,

203. pa će reći: “Hoće li nam se imalo vremena dati?”

204. Zašto o­ni kaznu Našu požuruju?!

205. Šta ti misliš, ako im Mi dopuštamo da godinama uživaju,

206. i naposljetku ih snađe o­no čime im se prijeti,

207. zar će imati šta od slatkog života koji su provodili?

208. Mi nijedan grad nismo razorili prije nego su im došli o­ni koji su ih opominjali

209. da bi pouku primili; Mi nismo nepravedni bili.

210. Kur’an ne donose šejtani,

211. nezamislivo je da to o­ni čine; o­ni to nisu kadri,

212. o­ni ga nikako ne mogu prisluškivati.

213. Zato se, mimo Allaha, ne moli drugom bogu – da ne bi bio jedan od o­nih koji će biti mučeni!

214. I opominji rodbinu svoju najbližu

215. i budi ljubazan prema vjernicima koji te slijede!

216. A ako te ne budu poslušali, ti reci: “Ja nemam ništa s tim što vi radite.”

217. I pouzdaj se u Silnoga i Milostivoga,

218. koji te vidi kada ustaneš

219. da sa ostalima molitvu obaviš,

220. jer o­n, doista, sve čuje i sve zna.

221. Hoću li vam kazati kome dolaze šejtani?

222. o­ni dolaze svakome lašcu, grješniku,

223. o­ni prisluškuju – i većinom o­ni lažu.

224. A zavedeni slijede pjesnike.

225. Zar ne znaš da o­ni svakom dolinom blude

226. i da govore o­no što ne rade,

227. tako ne govore samo o­ni koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine, i koji često Allaha spominju, i koji uzvraćaju kad ih ismijavaju. A mnogobošci će, sigurno, saznati u kakvu će se muku uvaliti.

Surah Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. Ta-Sin-Mim.

    [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.]

    2. These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Qur'an, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear].

    3. It may be that you (O Muhammad ) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism].

    4. If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.

    5. And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom.

    6. So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Qur'an), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them.

    7. Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein?

    8. Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers.

    9. And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    10. And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing),

    11. The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?"

    12. He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me,

    13. "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me).

    14. "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me."

    15. Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening.

    16. "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists),

    17. "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.' "

    18. [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us.

    19. "And you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man). And you are one of the ingrates."

    20. Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message).

    21. "So I fled from you when I feared you. But my Lord has granted me Hukman (i.e. religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood), and appointed me as one of the Messengers.

    22. "And this is the past favour with which you reproach me, that you have enslaved the Children of Israel."

    23. Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?"

    24. Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty."

    25. Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?"

    26. Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!"

    27. Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!"

    28. Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!"

    29. Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners."

    30. Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?"

    31. Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!"

    32. So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest.

    33. And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders!

    34. [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said to the chiefs around him: "Verily! This is indeed a well-versed sorcerer.

    35. "He wants to drive you out of your land by his sorcery, then what is it your counsel, and what do you command?"

    36. They said: "Put him off and his brother (for a while), and send callers to the cities;

    37. "To bring up to you every well-versed sorcerer."

    38. So the sorcerers were assembled at a fixed time on a day appointed.

    39. And it was said to the people: "Are you (too) going to assemble?

    40. "That we may follow the sorcerers [who were on Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) religion of disbelief] if they are the winners."

    41. So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Fir'aun (Pharaoh): "Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?"

    42. He said: "Yes, and you shall then verily be of those brought near (to myself)."

    43. Musa (Moses) said to them: "Throw what you are going to throw!"

    44. So they threw their ropes and their sticks, and said: "By the might of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), it is we who will certainly win!"

    45. Then Musa (Moses) threw his stick, and behold, it swallowed up all the falsehoods which they showed!

    46. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate.

    47. Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

    48. "The Lord of Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)."

    49. [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "You have believed in him before I give you leave. Surely, he indeed is your chief, who has taught you magic! So verily, you shall come to know. Verily, I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you all."

    50. They said: "No harm! Surely, to our Lord (Allah) we are to return;

    51. "Verily! We really hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins, as we are the first of the believers [in Musa (Moses) and in the Monotheism which he has brought from Allah]."

    52. And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued."

    53. Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities.

    54. (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band.

    55. "And verily, they have done what has enraged us;

    56. "But we are host all assembled, amply fore-warned."

    57. So, We expelled them from gardens and springs,

    58. Treasures, and every kind of honourable place.

    59. Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them.

    60. So they pursued them at sunrise.

    61. And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken."

    62. [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me."

    63. Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain.

    64. Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place.

    65. And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him.

    66. Then We drowned the others.

    67. Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers.

    68. And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    69. And recite to them the story of Ibrahim (Abraham).

    70. When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?"

    71. They said: "We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted."

    72. He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)?

    73. "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?"

    74. They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing so."

    75. He said: "Do you observe that which you have been worshipping,

    76. "You and your ancient fathers?

    77. "Verily! They are enemies to me, save the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists);

    78. "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me;

    79. "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink.

    80. "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me;

    81. "And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again);

    82. "And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection),"

    83. My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous;

    84. And grant me an honourable mention in later generations;

    85. And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight;

    86. And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring;

    87. And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected;

    88. The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

    89. Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifaq (hypocrisy)].

    90. And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2).

    91. And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring.

    92. And it will be said to them: "Where are those (the false gods whom you used to set up as rivals with Allah) that you used to worship

    93. "Instead of Allah? Can they help you or (even) help themselves?"

    94. Then they will be thrown on their faces into the (Fire), They and the Ghawun (devils, and those who were in error).

    95. And the whole hosts of Iblis (Satan) together.

    96. They will say while contending therein,

    97. By Allah, we were truly in a manifest error,

    98. When We held you (false gods) as equals (in worship) with the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists);

    99. And none has brought us into error except the Mujrimun [Iblis (Satan) and those of human beings who commit crimes, murderers, polytheists, oppressors, etc.].

    100. Now we have no intercessors,

    101. Nor a close friend (to help us).

    102. (Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the world), we shall truly be among the believers!

    103. Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    104. And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    105. The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers.

    106. When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

    107. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

    108. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    109. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

    110. "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me."

    111. They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?"

    112. He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do?

    113. "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know.

    114. "And I am not going to drive away the believers.

    115. I am only a plain warner."

    116. They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)."

    117. He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me.

    118. Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me."

    119. And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.

    120. Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter.

    121. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    122. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    123. 'Ad (people) belied the Messengers.

    124. When their brother Hud said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

    125. "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

    126. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    127. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).

    128. "Do you build high palaces on every high place, while you do not live in them?

    129. "And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever.

    130. "And when you seize, seize you as tyrants?

    131. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    132. "And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know.

    133. "He has aided you with cattle and children.

    134. "And gardens and springs.

    135. "Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day."

    136. They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach.

    137. "This is no other than the false-tales and religion of the ancients, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol.19, Page 97]

    138. "And we are not going to be punished."

    139. So they belied him, and We destroyed them. Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    140. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    141. Thamud (people) belied the Messenger.

    142. When their brother Salih (Saleh) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

    143. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

    144. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    145. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

    146. "Will you be left secure in that which you have here?

    147. "In gardens and springs.

    148. And green crops (fields etc.) and date-palms with soft spadix.

    149. "And you carve houses out of mountains with great skill.

    150. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    151. "And follow not the command of Al-Musrifun [i.e. their chiefs, leaders who were polytheists, criminals and sinners],

    152. "Who make mischief in the land, and reform not."

    153. They said: "You are only of those bewitched!

    154. "You are but a human being like us. Then bring us a sign if you are of the truthful."

    155. He said: "Here is a she-camel; it has a right to drink (water), and you have a right to drink (water) (each) on a day, known.

    156. "And touch her not with harm, lest the torment of a Great Day seize you."

    157. But they killed her, and then they became regretful.

    158. So the torment overtook them. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    159. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    160. The prople of Lout (Lot) (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers.

    161. When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

    162. "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

    163. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    164. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

    165. "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind),

    166. "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!"

    167. They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!"

    168. He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy).

    169. "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do."

    170. So We saved him and his family, all,

    171. Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind.

    172. Then afterward We destroyed the others.

    173. And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned.

    174. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    175. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    176. The dwellers of Al-Aiyka [near Madyan (Midian)] belied the Messengers.

    177. When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)?

    178. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

    179. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

    180. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

    181. "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others).

    182. "And weigh with the true and straight balance.

    183. "And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land.

    184. "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old."

    185. They said: "You are only one of those bewitched!

    186. "You are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars!

    187. "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!"

    188. He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do."

    189. But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day.

    190. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

    191. And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

    192. And truly, this (the Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists),

    193. Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down;

    194. Upon your heart (O Muhammad ) that you may be (one) of the warners,

    195. In the plain Arabic language.

    196. And verily, it (the Qur'an, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people.

    197. Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

    198. And if We had revealed it (this Qur'an) unto any of the non-Arabs,

    199. And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it.

    200. Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Qur'an) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).

    201. They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment;

    202. It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;

    203. Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"

    204. Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on?

    205. Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years,

    206. And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised!

    207. All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them.

    208. And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners

    209. By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust.

    210. And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Qur'an) down,

    211. Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).

    212. Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it.

    213. So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment.

    214. And warn your tribe (O Muhammad ) of near kindred.

    215. And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you.

    216. Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do."

    217. And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful,

    218. Who sees you (O Muhammad ) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers).

    219. And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers).

    220. Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

    221. Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend?

    222. They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person.

    223. Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars.

    224. As for the poets, the erring follow them,

    225. See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry?

    226. And that they say what they do not do.

    227. Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned.

U ime Allaha, Milostivog, Samilosnog

( بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ )

1. Ha-mim

حم

2. Ajin-sin-kaf.

عسق

3. Eto tako Allah Silni i Mudri objavljuje tebi, kao i onima prije tebe.

كَذَلِكَ يُوحِي إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

4. Njegovo je ono što je na nebesima i ono što je na Zemlji, i On je Svevišnji, Veličanstveni!

لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

5. Gotovo da se nebesa raspadnu jedna iznad drugih! A meleki veličaju i hvale Gospodara svoga i mole oprosta za one koji su za Zemlji. – Allah je, zaista, taj koji prašta i koji je milostiv.

تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

6. Allah motri na one koje, pored Njega, zaštitnike uzimaju, tebi nije prepušteno da o njima brigu vodiš.

وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَولِيَاء اللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ

7. Eto tako Mi tebi objavljujemo Kur’an, na arapskom jeziku, da bi opominjao Mekku i one oko nje i upozorio na Dan kada će se sakupiti – u koji nema nikakve sumnje. Jedni će u džennet, a drugi u džehennem.

وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ

8. A da Allah hoće, učinio bi ih sve pravim vjernicima, ali, On u milost Svoju uvodi koga On hoće, a nevjernici nemaju ni zaštitnika ni pomagača.

وَلَوْ شَاء اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاء فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

9. Zar oni da druge, a ne Njega, za zaštitnike uzimaju, a Allah je jedini zaštitnik! On će uživjeti umrle, samo je On kadar sve.

أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاء فَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِي المَوْتَى وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

10. Ma učemu se razilazili, treba da presudu da Allah. To vam je, eto, Allah, Gospodar moj – u Njega se ja uzdam i Njemu se obraćam –

وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ

11. Stvoritelj nebesa i Zemlje! On vas kao parove stvara – a stvara parove i od stoke – da vas tako razmnožava. Niko nije kao On! On sve čuje i sve vidi.

فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ

12. U Njega su ključevi nebesa i Zemlje, On daje obilje kome hoće, a i uskraćuje; On, uistinu, zna sve.

لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

13. On vam propisuje u vjeri isto ono što je propisano Nuhu i ono što objavljujemo tebi, i ono što smo naredili Ibrahimu i Musau i Isau: “Pravu vjeru ispovjedajte i u tome se ne podvajajte!” Teško je onima koji Allahu druge ravnim smatraju da se tvome pozivu odazovu. Allah odabire za Svoju vjeru onoga koga On hoće i upućuje u nju onoga ko Mu se iskreno obrati.

شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّى بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاء وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ

14. A oni su se podvojili iz zlobe međusobne baš onda kad im je došlo saznanje. I da nije Riječi Gospodara tvoga prije izrečene, do označenog roka, s njima bi bilo već svršeno. A oni kojima se poslije njih Knjiga u nasljedstvo ostavlja veoma sumnjaju u nju.

وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ

15. Zato ti pozivaj i budi ustrajan, onako kako ti se naređuje, a ne povodi se za prohtjevima njihovim, i reci: “Ja vjerujem u sve knjige koje je Allah objavio, i naređeno mi je da vam pravedno sudim; Allah je i naš i vaš Gospodar, nama naša, a vama vaša djela; nema potrebe da jedni drugima dokaze iznosimo; Allah će nas sve sabrati, i Njemu će se svi vratiti.”

فَلِذَلِكَ فَادْعُ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ

16. A dokazi onih koji se o Allahovoj vjeri raspravljaju ništavni su kod njihova Gospodara kada su joj se već mnogi odazvali; na njih će pasti gnjev i čeka ih patnja teška.

وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

17. Allah objavljuje Knjigu, samo istinu i pravednost. A šta ti znaš, – možda je Smak svijeta blizu!

اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ

18. Požuruju ga oni koji u nj ne vjeruju, a oni koji vjeruju zbog njega – strahuju i da je istina znaju. O, kako su, doista, daleko zalutali oni koji o Času oživljenja raspravljaju!

يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

19. Allah je dobar prema robovima Svojim; on daje opskrbu kome hoće, i On je moćan i silan.

اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاء وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ العَزِيزُ

20. Onome ko bude želio nagradu na onom svijetu – umnogostučićemo mu je, a onome ko bude želio nagradu na ovom svijetu – daćemo mu je, ali mu na onom svijetu nema udjela.

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ

21. Zar oni da imaju bogove koji im propisuju da vjeruju ono što Allah nije naredio? Da nije Riječi prije izrečene, među njima bi već bilo presuđeno. – A nevjernike, doista, čeka patnja nesnosna.

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاء شَرَعُوا لَهُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

22. Vidjećeš nevjernike kako strepe zbog onoga što su činili, i kazna će ih stići; a oni koji su vjerovali i dobra djela činili biće u divnim džennetskim baščama, sve što zažele imaće u Gospodara svoga; biće to blagodat velika.

تَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي رَوْضَاتِ الْجَنَّاتِ لَهُم مَّا يَشَاؤُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الكَبِيرُ

23. Na ovaj način Allah šalje radosne vijesti robovima Svojim, onima koji su vjerovali i dobra djela činili. Reci: “Ne tražim za ovo nikakvu drugu nagradu od vas, osim pažnje rodbinske.” A umnogostručićemo nagradu onome ko učini dobro djelo, jer Allah, zaista, mnogo prašta i blagodaran je.

ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

24. Zar oni da govore: “On izmišlja o Allahu laži!” A Allah će, ako hoće, srce tvoje učiniti nepokolebljivim. Allah poništava neistinu i utvrđuje istinu riječima Svojim; On dobro zna svačije misli;

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَإِن يَشَأِ اللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ وَيَمْحُ اللَّهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

25. On prima pokajanje od robova Svojih i prašta rđave postupke i zna šta radite;

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

26. On se odaziva onima koji vjeruju i čine dobra djela i obasipa ih dobrotom Svojom još više, a nevjernike čeka žalosna patnja.

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَالْكَافِرُونَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

27. Kad bi Allah svim Svojim robovima davao opskrbu u obilju, oni bi se na Zemlji osilili, ali On je daje s mjerom, onoliko koliko hoće, jer On dobro poznaje i vidi robove Svoje.

وَلَوْ بَسَطَ اللَّهُ الرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِ لَبَغَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَاء إِنَّهُ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ

28. On šalje kišu kad oni izgube svaku nadu i rasprostire blagoslov Svoj; On je zaštitnik pravi i jedini dostojan hvale.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا وَيَنشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

29. Jedno od znamenja Njegovih je stvaranje nebesa i Zemlje i živih bića koja je rasijao po njima; On je kadar da ih sve sabere kad bude htio.

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاء قَدِيرٌ

30. Kakva god vas bijeda zadesi, to je zbog grijehova koje ste zaradili, a On mnoge i oprosti.

وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ

31. I vi Mu na Zemlji nećete moći umaći i ne postoji, osim Allaha, ni pomagač ni zaštitnik.

وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

32. Jedno od znamenja Njegovih su lađe nalik na brda koje morem plove.

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ الْجَوَارِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ

33. Ako želi, On umiri vjetar i one na površini njegovoj ostaju nepokretne – to su pouke svakom onom ko je strpljiv i zahvalan –

إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

34. ili ih potopi, zbog grijehova koje su zaradili, – a mnogima i oprosti -,

أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ

35. da bi se oni koji poriču dokaze Naše uvjerili da kazni Našoj ne mogu umaći.

وَيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ

36. Sve što vam je dato – samo je uživanje u životu na ovom svijetu, a ono što je u Allaha – bolje je i trajnije za one koji vjeruju i u Gospodara svoga se uzdaju;

فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

37. za one koji se klone velikih grijeha i razvrata i koji, kad ih ko rasredi, opraštaju;

وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ

38. za one koji se Gospodaru svome odazivaju, i koji molitvu obavljaju, i koji se o poslovima svojim dogovaraju, a dio od onoga čime smo ih opskrbili udjeljuju,

وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

39. i za one koji se odupiru onima koji ih ugnjetavaju.

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ

40. Nepravda se može uzvratiti istom mjerom, a onoga koji oprosti i izmiri se Allah će nagraditi; On, uistinu, ne voli one koji nepravdu čine.

وَجَزَاء سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ

41. Neće odgovarati onaj koji istom mjerom uzvrati za pretrpljenu nepravdu,

وَلَمَنِ انتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ مَا عَلَيْهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ

42. a odgovaraće oni koji ljude tlače i bez ikakva osnova red na Zemlji remete; njih čeka bolna patnja.

إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ النَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

43. Strpljivo podnostiti i praštati – tako treba svaki pametan postupiti.

وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

44. Onaj koga Allah bez podrške ostavi neće poslije Njega imati nikoga da ga podrži. I ti ćeš vidjeti kako će nasilnici, kad dožive patnju, povikati: “Postoji li ikakav način da se povratimo?”

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَى مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ

45. I vidjećeš kako ih ponižene i klonule vatri izlažu, a oni je ispod oka gledaju. Oni koji su vjerovali, reći će: “Pravi stradalnici su oni koji na Sudnjem danu i sebe i čeljad svoju upropaste!” A zar nevjernici neće neprekidno patiti!

وَتَرَاهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَاشِعِينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِيٍّ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ

46. Njima neće moći pomoći oni kojima su se pored Allaha klanjali; a onaj koga je Allah bez podrške ostavio, taj pravog puta nije ni našao.

وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَاء يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن سَبِيلٍ

47. Odazovite se Gospodaru svome prije nego što dođe Dan koji Allah neće zaustaviti. Toga Dana utočišta nećete imati i nećete moći poricati.

اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَأٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ

48. A ako glave okrenu, – pa, Mi tebe nismo ni poslali da budeš njihov čuvar, ti si dužan samo da obznaniš. Kad čovjeku damo da blagodat Našu osjeti, on joj se obraduje, a kad ga zadesi kakva nesreća zbog onoga što su uradile ruke njegove, onda čovjek blagodati ne priznaje.

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ وَإِنَّا إِذَا أَذَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ كَفُورٌ

49. Allahova je vlast na nebesima i na Zemlji. On stvara šta hoće! On poklanja žensku djecu kome hoće, a kome hoće – mušku,

لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاء يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاء إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَاء الذُّكُورَ

50. ili im daje i mušku i žensku, a koga hoće, učini bez poroda; On uistinu, sva zna i sve može.

أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَاء عَقِيمًا إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

51. Nijednom čovjeku nije dato da mu se Allah obraća osim na jednom od tri načina: nadahnućem, ili iza zastora, ili da pošalje izaslanika koji, Njegovom voljom, objavljuje ono što On želi. – On je, zaista, Uzvišen i Mudar!

وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاء حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاء إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ

52. Na takav način Mi i tebi objavljujemo ono što ti se objavljuje. Ti nisi znao šta je Knjiga niti si poznavao vjerske propise, ali smo je Mi učinili svjetlom pomoću kojeg upućujemo one robove Naše koje želimo. A Ti, Zaista, upućuješ na pravi put,

وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيمَانُ وَلَكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ نَّشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِنَا وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

53. na put Allahov, kome pripada sve što je na nebesima i sve što je na Zemlji. I, eto, Allahu će se sve vratit

صِرَاطِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَصِيرُ الأمُورُ
